Text Boxes In VSM Are Too Large After Installing IE8

After upgrading to IE8, when you Take Action in VSM, some text boxes become very large. To fix this, install the following IE8 patch: KB2586448. This patch fixes a number of display issues with IE8 and resolves the text box with VSM (VSM must use IE8 as an interface in some way).
